Those of us who enjoy using long wearing products know how difficult it is to find a makeup remover that we like that adequately removes all traces of waterproof mascara, eyeshadow and liner. Thankfully, I've found removers that I feel perform well for my purposes but that doesn't stop me from searching for other's, you know, just in case something better exists :) Essence Waterproof Makeup Remover is a biphase solution (meaning it has to be shaken before use) that claims to remove waterproof eye makeup and in my experience of testing it, the claim is both true and false.
After testing this product a few times I've found that Essence Waterproof Makeup Remover does remove waterproof eyemakeup from the immediate eye area BUT it then smears it around the perimeter of the eye and even on to the cheek area. The majority of people would find this caveat a deal breaker and I would have to agree; I will have to utilize this makeup remover for removing swatches because as an eyemakeup remover it is definitely insufficient.
FYI: As far as I know, this product isn't available in the USA although I could be wrong. I bought it here in Europe for less than three euro's.
